Medical Device R&D Engineer

After completing my Master’s, my professor employed me in the Medical Device Design lab at Trinity College Dublin. I was tasked with solving problems associated with a mitral valve repair/replacement device for the treatment of numerous heart valve diseases. I validated many of these designs and concepts through CAD, modelling, prototyping, dissections, and testing. My contributions and inventions are going to help others as this product is developed further at Trinity College Dublin.
